Meet Recap

The Redford Union Boys Varsity Bowling team continued their winning ways against Clarenceville High School Tuesday night at Thunder Bowl Lanes in Allen Park, winning 25 out of 30 points. The Panthers won the first two games, which were bowled in the Baker format, 137 to 112 and 148 to 136. The next two games were bowled in the traditional format, with RU winning both—784 to 771 and 695 to 666. The Panthers were led by Trevor Kerkhof, bowling 202, and Kyle Keating, with a 181. The boys’ record for the season is now 11-3. The Panther’s next match is against Belleville High School on Friday, February 20, at 3:30p.m. at Cherry Hill Lanes in Inkster. It is the last match of the regular season. The RU bowling squad is coached by David Battistelli and Roy Biggs.
