The Redford Union Girls Varsity Bowling team fell to Belleville High School Tuesday night at Lodge Lanes in Belleville, winning 11 out of 30 points. The Panthers took the first two games, which were bowled in the Baker format, 165 to 160 and 179 to 171. The next two games were bowled in the traditional format, with RU losing both–678 to 788 and 680 to 847. The Panthers were led by Brianna Clapham, bowling 163 and Lizzie Pigeon adding 150. The girlsâ record for the season is now 6-2-1. The Pantherâs next match is against Dearborn High School on Thursday, January 26, at 3:30p.m. at Skore Lanes in Taylor. The RU bowling squad is coached by David Battistelli and Roy Biggs.
