Meet Recap
The Redford Union Girls Varsity Bowling team fell to Dearborn High School Thursday night at Skore Lanes in Taylor, winning 2.5 out of 30 points. The Panthers lost the first two games, which were bowled in the Baker format, 111 to 114 and 127 to 135. The next two games were bowled in the traditional format, with RU losing both–733 to 744 and 659 to 755. The Panthers were led by Brianna Clapham, bowling 177 and Lizzie Pigeon adding 167. The girlsâ record for the season is now 6-3-1. The Pantherâs next match is against Annapolis High School on Tuesday, January 31, at 3:30p.m. when they return home to Mayflower Lanes in Redford. The RU bowling squad is coached by David Battistelli and Roy Biggs.
