Meet Recap

The Redford Union Girls Varsity Bowling team returned to their winning ways against Romulus High School Tuesday night at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, winning 25 out of 30 points. The Panthers won the first two games, which were bowled in the Baker format, 117 to 107 and 137 to 133. The next two games were bowled in the traditional format, with RU winning the first–677 to 662 and the second, 730 to 645. The Panthers were led by Alissa Elliott, bowling 183 and Brianna Clapham adding 172. The girls’ record for the season is now 7-4-1. The Panther’s next match is against Robichaud High School on Friday, February 10, at 3:30p.m. at Cherry Hill Lanes in Inkster. The RU bowling squad is coached by David Battistelli and Roy Biggs.
