In the most exciting game of the season, Redford Union defeated Romulus in 5 games to clinch a tie for the Conference Championship. The Panthers play Crestwood Tuesday to attempt to be sole Champs. Playing outstanding Volleyball for the Lady Panthers were setter Haley Hebner, Hitters Jakyla Jackson, Kiara Sharps, Bria White and Caitlyn Kenney and playing great backrow defense were Lindsey Pfirrmann and Maggie Osowski. The Panthers record is now 8-1 with Tuesdays game being the final of the Conference season. See you at the game.

The JV Panthers finished out the season with a win against the Riverview Pirates. Samir Rashed led the way with two Touchdowns. Andrew Draper scored on a 35 yard reception from Amir Rashed.
Amir Rashed led the defense with 10 tackles.

In a non-conference match the Panthers fell to Crestwood H.S. by a score of 3 games to 2. The Panthers will see Crestwood again at Redford Union on Tuesday for their last conference game of the year. Leading the Panthers in assists was Haley Hebner. Leading in Kills were Jakyla Jackson, Bria White and Kiara Sharps. Leading in Digs were Lindsey Pfirrmann, Maggie Osowski and Caitlyn Kenney. Serving well for R. U. was Jaime Goulet. The Panthers Conference record is 7-1 with a huge match involving playoff implications against Romulus this Thursday. See you at the game.

The Panthers came up short against the Thunderbirds losing 35-28.
Thorton Cain had 21 yards rushing on 19 carries and two TD’s. Isaac Grant had a 39 yard TD run and finished the night with 69 yards on 10 carries and added 8 tackles. Kenny Perry lead the team with 11 total tackles from his safety spot.

Game Recap

The Panthers played a solid all around game leading to a 46-6 victory over the Thunderbirds. Several Panthers found their way into the endzone including Samir Rashed, Alonzo WIlson and Mekhi Bullard-Jones.
The JV Panthers improve to 4-4 on the season and play their finale at RIverview on October 19th at 6PM.

The Panthers improved their record to 7-1 in the Conference by defeating Robichard in 3 games. Playing well for Redford Union in the victory were Jamie Goulet, Tashia Albert, Kayla Dixon, Summer Kirn-Jones and Mya Combs. The Panthers next game is Tuesday at Crestwood which will be counted as a non-conference game. The Lady Panthers also play Romulus Thursday at home in their Blue and Gold game. See you there.

Great match tonight! Again Amilia came in strong in the middle for us. Sky Hawthorne was back and had a few really nice hits out of the middle as well. Tayja and Alissa played strong left sides and really played well all the way around for us tonight.
