Winter Sports Try Outs and Practices

The winter sports season is fast approaching. Winter sports here at Redford Union are Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Boys Swim and Cheer. Boys Swim Team Season Begins and Team Meeting

The first official day of swim practice, is Monday, November 24th.  Practices will begin after school and go until 4:30.  We will be having a team meeting Tues November 18, after school, in the pool area, for current swimmers and anyone who might be interested.

Girls swim team vs. Belleville

The Redford union girls swim team lost to the Belleville tigers 116-56. Even though the RU girls lost they did not give up to the strong Belleville team. RU had some great swims and best times of the season. Freshman Abby Bishop placed second and best times in both her events 200 IM 2:48.81 ,

Girls swim record 5-4 for the 2014 season

Redford union girls added another win last night against Crestwood 106-57. This was the final dual meet of the season and we ended up on top. The girls all swam great and they should all be complimented on their overall performances this season. 1st place finishers: Freshman Abby Bishop 100 free 1:09.10, 100 breaststroke 1:31.81;

Girls swim team defeats Dearborn Heights Annapolis

The Redford union lady panthers strike again defeating Dearborn Heights Annapolis 99-69 Thursday Oct. 23. The Lady panthers were able to able to pull off 7 first place finishes;5 second place finishes and 7 3rd place finishes. Freshman Abby Bishop and twin sister Sarah Bishop were both able to finish first in their events Abby 200
