The Redford Union Girls Varsity Bowling team came from behind to beat Annapolis High School Tuesday night at Mayflower Lanes, in Redford, winning 18 out of 30 points. The first two games were bowled in the Baker Format. The Panthers lost both games, 118 to 137 and 115 to 120. The next two games were bowled in the traditional format with RU winning the first game 629 to 605 and the second game 677 to 619. The Panthers were led by Sheila Gubachy bowling a 159. Mia Sopko rolled a 152. The girls are 3-2 for the season. The Panthers’ next match is against Robichaud High School on Monday, January 14 at 3:00p.m. at Skore Lanes in Taylor. Redford Union is coached by David Battistelli and Roy Biggs.
