The Redford Union Girls Varsity Bowling team beat Annapolis High School Friday night at Town-N-Country, in Westland, winning 25 out of 30 points. The first two games were bowled in the Baker Format. The Panthers won 157 to 147 and 129 to 104. The next two games were bowled in the traditional format with RU winning 625 to 605 and 586 to 569. The Panthers were led by Diamond Scott bowling a 147 and Julia Shroat rolled a 145. The girls are 7-6 for the season. The Panthers’ next match is against Robichaud High School on Tuesday, February 11 at 3:30 p.m. at Mayflower Lanes, in Redford. Redford Union is coached by David Battistelli and Roy Biggs.
