The Redford Union Girls Varsity Bowling team lost to Annapolis High School team Tuesday night at Thunderbowl Lanes, in Allen Park, winning 10 out of 30 points. The first two games were bowled in the Baker Format. The Panthers won the first game 121 to 103 and lost the second 72 to 108. The next two games were bowled in the traditional format with RU losing the first game 513 to 538 and the second game 546 to 551. The Panthers were led by Julia Shroat bowling a 146 and Diamond Scott rolled a 126. The girls are 3-3 for the season. The Panthers’ next match is against Robichaud High School on Friday, January 17 at 3:30p.m. at Town-N-Country Lanes, in Westland. Redford Union is coached by David Battistelli and Roy Biggs.
