The Redford Union Girls Varsity Bowling team lost to Clarenceville High School Tuesday night at Skore Lanes, in Taylor, winning 10 out of 30 points. The first two games were bowled in the Baker Format. The Panthers won the first game 92 to 91 and lost the second 82 to 103. The next two games were bowled in the traditional format with RU losing the first game 548 to 620 and the second game 529 to 554. The Panthers were led by Julia Shroat bowling a 142 and Diamond Scott rolled a 117. The girls are 4-4 for the season. The Panthers’ next match is against Romulus High School on Thursday, January 23 at 3:15 p.m. at Merri-Bowl Lanes, in Livonia. Redford Union is coached by David Battistelli and Roy Biggs.
